Leagues Cup is an annual, Concacaf-sanctioned competition between MLS and Liga MX clubs. The 2026 tournament runs August 4 through September 6 and includes 36 teams: all 18 Liga MX clubs and 18 MLS qualifiers.
Phase One features 54 MLS-versus-Liga MX matches, with each club playing three cross-league games. The top four teams in each league-specific table reach a fixed eight-team knockout bracket.
This year also brings matches in Mexico after prior expanded editions were held only in the United States and Canada. The top three finishers will qualify for the 2027 Concacaf Champions Cup. 🏆
