FIFA says UEFAās filing contains misleading claims and was intended to harass the governing body and affect Gianni Infantinoās re-election bid. UEFA has alleged that the proposalās governance and valuation were flawed; UEFA declined to comment to The Guardian.

š The Newcastle Knights beat the Penrith Panthers 22ā14 in the NRL preliminary final at Accor Stadium, sending Newcastle to its first grand final in 25 years.
Newcastle trailed 14ā6 at half-time and played the second half with 12 men after hooker Phoenix Crossland was sent off for a hip-drop tackle on Nathan Cleary.
Cleary suffered a compound fracture and dislocation of his ankle in the incident. Sandon Smith later scored twice, including a late intercept try, to secure the win.
The Knights will face the Sydney Roosters in next Sundayās grand final. The result ends the minor-premier Panthersā season. š
