Did I missed an opportunity to get in involved in a conversation?
I work in the produce section of a grocery store, in the back of the store are women who work on cutting fruit and making fruit bowls. An hour ago i went to the back to find an item to take to the floor, while I was getting the item two of the women started started taking about shows that are being removed from the streaming services they use. Then it devolved into other topics like getting physical media, cartoon network studio building shutting down and how they had sympathy for the animators losing their jobs, and old cartoon network shows like Ed edd n Eddy and how those shows spoke to them as kids. Every part of my mind wanted to be apart of that conversation even for a few seconds because everything they taked about I had interest, but I did know how to insert myself into the conversation, so I just went back to work. I have always had difficulties with my social skills and getting involved in conversations and I feel like I missed my opportunity. What could I have said to be apart of that conversation?
