Hello 👋

Tried to keep my self busy, since Friday, with an old door standing there since 1960's (when my parents built the house).

Lot of holes, displaced parts and rotten spots.. deserve some love.

That sounds like such meaningful work, giving something so old and full of history a second chance. An old door from the 1960s must carry so many memories. It’s beautiful that you’re taking the time to restore it instead of replacing it.

absolutely , it's a part of our family , some doors were replaced but this one is so special , it was my parent's room external door (they had 2 rooms in 1 room).

mr6 Sylvie , nshallah, mais y'a déjà un soucis avec quelques parties , je dois reboucher et consolider le milieu et aussi la partie basse.
not using tools , just a kitchen knife and sanding paper , so ... que dalle 😁

thank you Dana , will keep it, bought the paint already. all the doors at home have same color , except the one my father painted (dark blue ) lol
