In Pakistan, one popular opinion that I disagree with is the notion that "marriage is a solution to all problems in a relationship." Many people believe that getting married will automatically fix issues in a relationship, such as trust, communication, and compatibility.
My Disagreement
I disagree with this opinion because marriage is not a magic solution that resolves all relationship issues. In fact, it can sometimes exacerbate existing problems. A successful relationship requires effort, communication, and mutual understanding, which cannot be achieved solely through marriage. Moreover, the societal pressure and expectations surrounding marriage can add stress to the relationship. Instead of relying on marriage as a solution, couples should focus on building a strong foundation of trust, respect, and communication. This way, they can work through their issues together and build a healthier relationship. By putting too much emphasis on marriage as a solution, we might overlook the real work that needs to be done to make a relationship thrive.
