Consuming fois gras isn't more unethical than consuming meat in general
There's a lot of outrage around how fois gras is created. Yes it's disgusting and awful for the ducks. However, I don't understand how people think that fois gras is more unethical than just consuming meat in general. The ENTIRE meat industry is beyond unethical for the animals, so how does drawing the line at fois gras make sense? Every meat you consume comes from an animal who had to suffer to get to that point, making a duck suffer to produce fois gras isn't any different from consuming a meat product.
