In my opinion, as a Muslim living in a Muslim society, friendship between a boy and a girl is not encouraged. In Islam, we are taught to protect our dignity, faith, and heart. That is why many people believe such friendships can lead to wrong intentions or emotional attachment. Society also often looks at these friendships with doubt. People may talk, judge, or misunderstand the relationship, even if it is innocent. Because of this, it can affect a person’s respect and family reputation. I believe that if boys and girls do interact, there should be clear boundaries. They should be respectful, modest, and keep their behavior within Islamic limits. Talking only for study, work, or necessary reasons is better. Being too close, sharing personal feelings, or spending too much time together is not good. In reality, pure friendship is very rare, because feelings can easily develop over time. So, it is better to avoid such friendships for a peaceful and respectful life.
