Trying to decide between two routes for a Central Europe…

Trying to decide between two routes for a Central Europe trip and would love some opinions!

**Option 1:** Vienna → Lake Bled → Soča Valley → Munich
**Option 2:** Vienna → Prague → Vltava River → Saxon Switzerland → Berlin

I’m traveling with my 60-year-old parents, who are still very adventurous and love live music, plus my brother and me (both in our 20s). We all enjoy beautiful scenery, good food, charming towns, and a little adventure (fly fishing, hiking, kayaking, etc.), but we also don’t want to spend the whole trip in transit, so we’re trying to keep travel days under about 5 hours.

If you’ve been to both areas, which route would you choose? Does Slovenia make for a more memorable trip, or would you go with Prague/Berlin and the nature stops? We’d love to hear what you enjoyed most or if there are any hidden gems we’re overlooking! Maybe a completely different route? 😅 help
