Old people usually give good financial advice.
Most old people give advice worth listening to. The world has changed quite a bit so it usually requires some tweaking like changing out actively managed funds to ETFs. Even now you can pick good stocks yourself if you're willing to do some research on them.
Some young people give poor financial advice. The only old people I have heard endorsing crypto is the leader of microstraregies and Elon Musk. And in most cases its a bit shit. It really seems like crypto is mainly useful for illicit activity.
I also have seen a lot of young people lacking and spending money super dumb stuff and services. Its no secret that luxury spending is up. LVMH, Klarna and other financing services are a huge business right now.
