2 months backpacking through south america - Peru + Bolivia + Chile or Colombia?
I wanna go to South America for the first time. I could travel for around 8 weeks. One option would be doing colombia for 2 weeks and head to Peru + Bolivia afterwards. I heard you can take a boat from Leticia (colombia) to Iquitos (colombia).
My second idea is to start in Lima, visit the Andes, Salar de Uyuni and make all my way to Santiago (Chile) through the atacama desert.
What would be more reasonable for that amount of time? Would it be possble to go to all four countrys? Im unsure what option brings the best joy and variety. Is it better to do colombia another trip and spent more days there? I heard that many visitors especially like the hospitable and warm people there. Also the party scene and dance culture. I dont know spanish yet, so better go there with better language skills?
