Is the RTX 3080 good for gaming in 2026?

Title explains it I found a rtx 3080 on marketplace for 260$. The thing is the VRAM is only 10GB. Will that make a difference? Also 10gb of GDDR6X memory does sound better than 12GB of gddr6.
My question is will the 3080 be good for the next \~4-5 years as a capable 1080p/1440p card?
Or should I go with something modern like a 5060(ugh) or another generic 8gb card?

***Things I plan on using it for***:

* Esports titles(Fortnite, Valorant, Apex, and a bit of rocket league)
* Video editing and also Blender(Plan on doing content creation)
* I really love playing pretty games so probably Crimson Desert, God of war Ragnarok, Cyberpunk 2077, Horizon, etc.
* I also like to play FPS games with good graphics like ULTRAKILL, Battlefield 6, Black ops 7, DOOM, etc.

***What I am coming from:***

I come from an i5-3570 and a Radeon HD 6450(1gb of ddr3)

***Stuff I don't mind doing:***

* Reducing the resolution from 1440p/4k to 1080p if required
* Using DLSS, losless scaling, or any other upscaling method
* Decreasing the graphics preset to HIGH/MEDIUM
* I want to try ray tracing but I don't mind if my pc can't handle it.

P.S: I live in a third world country so this marketplace deal is probably my best bet. The only other things I can get are overpriced used 3060s or early GTX cards.

P.P.S: I plan on doing an AM5 build under 800$(Parts selected, it is possible), so increasing the cost of the graphics card will probably make me go to AM4, which I would not prefer> Kindly suggest alternatives which are consistently available at 260$ in the international new/used marketplace
