Suggestions for small pack for short hikes
I do a lot of very short hikes in county parks, usually under three miles, just a couple of hours or less.
I have a small day pack from LL Bean but even that seems overkill on a hike lasting an hour.
I want to carry a water bottle, tissue, emergency whistle. These hikes are in suburban areas with plenty of cell service so I don’t need much.
My wife carries a bottle holder with a small pocket over her shoulder but I’m already carrying a camera so not keen on that model.
Any suggestions for maybe a fanny pack? I feel that might be a better solution. Any insights appreciated.
