Portugal trip in November
Starting to plan a trip to Portugal late November around thanksgiving holidays. Traveling from the East coast, USA
For this trip, we would like to focus on Northern Portugal- Lisbon Porto and surrounding areas.
We currently have an option to do 6 full days. This does not include the travel days and day of arrival (10 am arrival in Lisbon). Tentatively 23 Nov to Dec 1
There is also an option to add an additional day making it 7 days exclusively for sightseeing. This would increase the expenses with another hotel night…hence debating…
Do you recommend 7 days for Lisbon and Porto with day trips
Do I need a car for side trips outside of the main cities? We plan to take the train from Lisbon to Porto. Will depart from Porto.
