Looking for a destination for 4 or 5 days in mid september in Europe
Hello,
This is a 4 or 5 days trip in mid September in Europe (therefore I also include Caucasus). I will travel by plane.
**My main interests are :**
* Architecture
* Monuments
* Castles
**I also like :**
\- Museums but I don't want to visit a lot, 2 would be enough for example
\- Churches
\- Nature / landscape but I don't want hikes and it should not be the only purpose of the trip (exception is Faroe Islands but in Faroe it's possible to visit Torshavn and some villages)
It would be nice to have a city or country with a good gastronomy ; or at least good restaurants where I can eat dishes from other countries, like Italy.
I don't care about the nightlife.
I'm looking for a destination that **isn't too well-known and not overly touristy**. (f*or example : not Paris, London, Barcelona, Rome, or Amsterdam ; I would prefer to visit cities like Riga, Baku, Tallinn or Vilnius for instance)*
Here are 3 destinations that I loved : Slovenia, Malta, Budapest
I can give you a list of destinations that I found interesting when I checked pictures : Baku, Tbilisi, Yerevan, Riga, Tallinn, Vilnius, Bucharest + Brasov, Faroe Islands
