The same storm system that dropped record snows along the U.S. oast of the Gulf of Mexico is racing across the Atlantic and is forecast to quickly intensify as it approaches Ireland and the UK Thursday into Friday. Wind fields approaching Cat 2 hurricane status or higher are forecast over Ireland into southern Scotland. England and northern Scotland will also have unusually strong winds as well. Prepare and stay safe! This could be a historic event.
