Me and 1–2 friends want to do a 4-day hiking trip in mid-July / August.
I’m somewhat experienced, but they’re basically beginners, so I’m looking for something that’s not too technical and roughly 9–13 km per day.
We’re mostly looking at France, Switzerland, Italy, or Spain.
Refuges / huts are a must. Because again, they’re beginners and they don’t have most of the staff needed for camping.
What we look for:
1. beautiful scenery
2.lakes / waterfalls / river pools where we could take a quick dip during the day
3.some spots with trees where we could hang hammocks and chill during breaks
We won’t have a car, so the route needs to be reachable by train / bus, and ideally the start/end shouldn’t be too far from an airport (something like up to 5-7hours is fine, if it is in a place where we can spend a night before/after the hike).
I’ve already looked a bit and it seems like swimming is restricted in a lot of mountain areas, so I’d especially appreciate suggestions where this is actually realistic.
