So I recently started working as a labourer for a mason, and honestly, I’m finding the job extremely hard and I absolutely hate it so far. I just want your honest opinion: am I just too soft for blue-collar work, or does this type of work genuinely suck for a lot of people? Most of my work has been shoveling, lifting huge stones, and making mortar, and it’s very physically demanding. How can I improve myself and become stronger, or do you think blue-collar work might just not be for me? I’m planning to apply to the Sheet Metal Workers Union as a first-year apprentice. Do you think I might enjoy that type of work more, or is it going to be similar? #industry source
