Can I roll cones on this machine or do I need independed adjustment on both sides ?
Never operated a sheet roller but I'm in the business of making cylinders and cones so it seems like the perfect tool to buy. Can anybody tell me if I need the rollers to be adjusted independently to make decent cones ? The machine from the pic is Metcor W01-2x1250. It's the only one on my budget that has the capacity of 2mm but it doesn't state anywhere that it can be used for rolling cones. All the other ones cap at 1.5mm which theoretically SHOULD suit my needs (mostly working with 0.7, 0.8 and 1mm, on rare occasions I predict using 1.5mm).
The other two ones I'm considering are :
\- Metcor 1.5mm x 1300mm (has independent roller adjustment on both sides) specifically states making cones
\-Cormak ESR 1300 x 1.5 mm, with an electric motor. Also has independent roller adjustment on both sides
