Should I take the plunge and build now?
My current gaming pc is around 7 years old with a GTX 1050 Ti, and I'm thinking in upgrading now.
What I have in mind for my new pc is a RTX 5070 with DDR5, but of course the DDR5 prices are currently insane.
Part of me is annoyed because I thought of upgrading last year and ended up not doing it which could've "saved" me the ram money, but I also have FOMO. What if ram prices keep going up instead of eventually coming down?
I don't really want to go DDR4 just to save money (which is still expensive as well) because I think it will bottleneck a little? And since I'm building a PC I'll hopefully keep for years.
Should I just go for it and buy now?
