This is a patola (sponge gourd) which I planted last November. It's nearly four months now, and it's beginning to bear fruit. Last week, I sprayed some insecticide and put some fertilizers for it to bloom and bear fruit. I water them everyday and remove the weeds that grows near it.
Sponge gourds are high in dietary fiber, vitamin A, vitamin C, iron, and magnesium, which helps with digestion, immune support, and blood sugar management.
One gardening tip from me that's effective is speak to the plant everyday, and do not curse. You can play music as well especially to the flowers so they will bloom beautifully. 😄😅

Yeah.. It can go with anything.. Waiting for its fruit so I can make it as a soup.. Ideal today coz it's still cold out here 😊😄

You can stir fry or soup with misua or vermicelli or glass noodles.. Either way 😊
