🚴 Tadej Pogačar won stage four of the 2026 Vuelta a España with a solo ride into Andorra la Vella, attacking on the Collada de Beixalis with about 50 km remaining. He finished the 104.8 km mountain stage in 2:40:35.
Jarno Widar finished second, 2:39 behind, and Felix Gall was third. The route included four classified ascents, including the Port d’Envalira, Collada de Beixalis and Col d’Ordino.
The result gave Pogačar a 3:21 lead over Primož Roglič in the general classification. Enric Mas was third, another 11 seconds back. ⏱️
It was Pogačar’s fifth Vuelta stage win and his first in the race leader’s red jersey. The 21-stage race is scheduled to continue through 13 September, with the overall result decided by cumulative time.
