Just a background from my end: After I passed out my high school where I was bullied for my sexuality so I couldn't be able to make friends, in college everyone was saying "oh now's the time to enjoy your life". But COVID happened and I lost my \~2 years of college experience, it doesn't help that my Dad had a prostate cancer and was going through his last stage.
The 3-4 years of my entire college life were highly stressful as I was struggling between hospital-studies-job.
I fortunately got a job in a reputed company and am doing financially ok now but my routine has been stuck aka 9-5(it's 7-7, since travelling takes \\\~2 hours), so the rest of 4-5 hours I just give to myself for rest since I really don't have energy to do anything.
In weekends, I don't have anything to do, either I'm stuck doing my pending work, sometimes meet my cousins and force them for outing since my college friends moved to another state for work.
Whenever I open Instagram, I see them involved in parties, travelling with lots of friends or someone showing their fancy lifestyle abroad.
I know instagram is not a real place and people use that to show their "happy" side, but honestly speaking if I have to show my "happy" side, I wouldn't be able to do that cause there is no "happy" side of mine.
My routine has been mundane it's like: eat, work, sleep with rare occasions of me meeting up with my cousins cause I forced them to.
I personally feel like I'm wasting my life, if I've to compare my life 5 years ago to now, it's legit same boring and stressful the only difference is I'm earning now. that's it.
