Question for electricians. I worked at a water pumping plant and installed 8 MCC's. The SCADA guys then came in and ran a control cable in series in and out of each cabinet. Then they drilled a 1 inch hole from the top gutter down to the MV compartment. Question is are they compromising the UL listing of the MCC's by making a path between the MV compartment and the LV gutter? Tried asking the manufacturer but they didn't respond to me. Thanks.
