Should I Get a 4K Monitor Now or Stick with 1440p for My RTX 5080 Build
I have just completed my gaming PC with a Ryzen 7 9800X3D and RTX 5080. I am now choosing a new monitor and I am torn between going for a good 1440p high refresh rate display or jumping to 4K.
My main games are AAA story titles where visuals matter a lot but I also play some competitive games where high frame rates are important. Budget for the monitor is around 400 to 500 dollars.
Is 4K worth it with the RTX 5080 at this price or will I get a better experience staying at 1440p with higher refresh rate and easier performance?
