Best route to take from San Diego, CA to Monterey, CA
I'll be driving from San Diego to Monterey this week. It'll be a one day drive, as I'll have plenty of time to explore Big Sur while I'm in Monterey.
The goal is to take the most scenic route (PCH), current plan is get to Sanata Monica then take Route 1 to Sanata Barbra, San Luis Obispo, all the way to Monterey. Does this seem like a solid plan? What are some places worth stopping for a bit.
