5 yr old makes his way to my bed almost nightly..

Well, 5 next month. We put him down in his bed, sometimes he stays there, most often he does not. If we tell him to go back to his bed or physically carry him in there, he will just come right back when he thinks we are asleep. Now, this bothers me zero percent, except for the occasional waking up in a puddle of someone else’s pee, which is… less than optimal, he’s likely my last kid and I enjoy the closeness. I wiIl admittedly put my foot down on nights I am feeling lucky with mama, but most nights I wake up to having been shoved nearly off the bed because he sleeps like he’s playing twister. I have hear lots of people say their kid finds excuses - bad dreams, scared, feeling bad, etc. mine does none of that. He simply states “I don’t wanna sleep alone.” Which breaks my heart most of the time. So all I really wanna know is, will this affect his development as a human, or is it ok? That is literally my only concern with this. I’d love to hear from some psychologists on this one.

TLDR; is it ok or not for his development?
