The ultimate goal of most jobs should be to do nothing
Forget the endless grind or forever chasing higher profits. We should prioritize a work culture that's so efficient and so streamlined most employees spend the day checking their metrics and going "Yep, still on track." I think a much greater indication of whether or not a business is successful is if the employees could essentially never show up and the business can just simply maintain. It would reduce burnout as well, allowing employees flexibility to simply just do their jobs when necessary and not spend hours meaninglessly attending meetings and buzzing around the facility. #conversation
