Expiring travel credit
I had a trip planned last August that was canceled due to a medical emergency. Because it happened to my Aunt, I couldn't get reimbursed. I only got flight credits. I now have the same trip for this August but cannot apply flight credit (through American Airlines) because the credit expires from purchase date which is May 12. I asked for an extension and was denied. This is beyond frustrating. Any advice?
