I'm in Rhode Island and just had Window World come by to quote us a new door (and two side lights). It's Therma-Tru brand door, and I have no idea where that ranks in the hierarchy of quality but it seemed like a nice enough door from the samples this guy brought in. But Labor was only $650 on the quote and the rest of it was the cost of the door. That seems utterly mad to me but, maybe I just need some perspective?
We got a quote to rebuild our deck in the spring with pressure treated lumber and PVC railings w/ aluminum balusters and that was $8k! I'm just shocked that these two things are even in the same ball park for costs.
