How do I make friends in a tiny town??
Hiii, I just moved into a very small town (by very small I mean barely over 1000 people). I don’t speak the language here (I’ll be working on that soon), will attend online school, and have autism. I have no idea how to approach people my age when a lot of them don’t even speak English well enough for a short conversation. I’ve tried online friends but that didn’t work. I’ve also tried approaching people when knowing we share interests (like at the cinema where we’re clearly interested in the same movie) but they were all 20+ or in large-ish groups. The next slightly larger town is pretty far on my own. I’m trying to figure out how to approach people and make actual friends.
