#summersolstice @amjadali g/studio Q1: The Summer Solstice…

#summersolstice

Q1: The Summer Solstice is not usually the hottest day of the year because the Earth and oceans take time to warm up. Even though the Sun gives the most daylight on that day, heat continues to build up for several weeks afterward, making July or August often hotter.

Q2: On the Summer Solstice, the Sun generally rises earliest and sets latest, giving us the longest period of daylight. However, due to the Earth's orbit and tilt, the exact earliest sunrise and latest sunset may occur a few days before or after the solstice, depending on location.

Q3: If you stood exactly on the Tropic of Cancer at noon during the Summer Solstice, your shadow could almost completely disappear. The Sun would be directly overhead, causing objects and people to cast little or no shadow.
