Was on the road the whole day.... And I had a little accident. A truck rear-ended Beast. Now Beast has a really ugly dent.
That was a difficult conversation to sort things out because the truck driver didn't speak German and knew only a few words of English.
We spoke into a translation app the whole time so we could understand what the other person was saying.
It was a long day... I had a business meeting out of town—a 2.5-hour drive there and back. All for some stupid meeting where I was only there for an hour and said just one sentence. The rest wasn't relevant to me. And then my car got wrecked, too. I've had enough for today LOL

They put a dent in the Beast and you still had to run the whole sit-down through a phone. Forget about it.
I hope you're safe and well. The car can either be replaced or repaired; it's just an object. Precious life is irreplaceable 🙏

So sorry to hear that.. my agony is seeing those trucks behind or infront of me, I got bumped by a government truck who lost control… so stay away from trucks sweetie.. the repairs will really cost your time… take care

Sorting a rear-end through a translation app is a long way to end an already long day. Beast's dent looks mean in that close-up. Did the app actually keep both of you on the same page, or did a lot of it turn into pointing at the bumper?

We wrote an accident report—which involved a lot of translating and gesturing :D
An accident report built out of a translation app and hand signals is its own kind of meeting. Hope the gesturing covered whatever the app mangled, and that Beast's dent is the worst of it.

It happened in a parking lot... I was backing up, and the truck started moving even though I was in the way.

I think if you have proof like camera footage or picture of the accident circumstances showing your both cars position .. like he he started moving when you were already out of spot, you win.
