Where are your shoes?
Do strangers ask your toddlers this in public? I thought it was just small talk until it happened a few times. For context they are 2 and 4. Yes they are walking but they don't really walk in these scenarios or in public unless in an appropriate place. Like on carpet, or a splash pad. So I never see the point in putting them on them. Otherwise I keep them in a cart, stroller, wagon, or my hip. I can't figure out if they intend this question to be critical?
