Bathing hand in an iodine solution, changing dressings and bandaging twice daily.

I have a follow-up appointment tomorrow to remove sutures from the palm. Hopefully, the doctors are happy with the healing process and I eventually regain the use of my right hand🙏

I declined the offer of home-help for cooking and cleaning. Much prefer to take care of this myself... admittedly set in my ways.

Yesterday's appointment to remove sutures led to dressing only the open wounds, left by the surgeon, on the middle finger and palm. This frees the other fingers, which are healing well, albeit stiffly, for some use.

Several more follow-up appointments with orthopedics, then physical therapy 💪

I can understand wanting to do things your own way especially when you're set in your own ways. I'm glad to hear healing is moving forward, even if it's not perfect yet. Take it easy and I hope the therapy brings steady improvement.🙏🤗

Yes, some pain... being handled by meds.
