Did you ever get rejected at immigration?

It happened to me twice, and once was last night. This time it was to Tunisia, arriving in the port of Tunis. It was supposed to be a simple visa free entry. I came to immigration, they asked a few basic questions about what I would visit visit, hotel reservations (I had them) etc cetera. Then I was taken to another little office, they asked the same questions and a few more, like about available money (no problem) and while everything is total chaos the tone was quite reassuring. I wait an hour or two, together with 6 other visitors, then they tell us to follow them to another location. We are expecting a baggage check or something. On the way again they calmly ask a few questions again, the same ones.

We then arrive to where they were taking us: the same boat we arrived on. They tell us to get on and here I am on the way back..
