Gothic arch door frame, what style of joints would you use?
I’m planning on making a gothic style door&door frame as an entrance though a hedge. It will be free standing and hopefully blend in with the foliage in the future. Will make it out of oak, and it’s unlikely that I’ll be able to source curved material so I’ll have to scarf the bends (likely in two places per side). I’m looking for advice on what joints you’d use for the scarf joints and top joint where the frame merges together. I’m shooting for something like the picture above.
