Uae pass cant upload Dubai issued license
Hi everyone,
I received an Abu Dhabi traffic fine for mobile phone usage while driving (AED 800 + 4 black points) on a rental car. The rental company says they cannot close the file until the black points are assigned to my Dubai driving licence.
They tried using my UAE Pass, but my licence details don't appear. MOI told me Dubai licences are handled by RTA, while RTA told me it has to be done through the RTA app. Unfortunately, the app doesn't provide any option to assign the license to my uae pass as well as the black points, and both authorities have been unable to help.
I need to return the rental car soon. Has anyone with a Dubai licence faced a similar issue? How did you get the black points assigned?
