Looking to upgrade full build.
Title. Looking to upgrade build but pretty pc illiterate. Friend sold me his old build for cheap and it’s just not able to keep up with him and other friends anymore.
AMD Ryzen 5 2600x
32g ram
SSD
NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1070.
Case is mid tower 16.5x8.5x15 inches. (if this matters)
Used almost 100% for gaming. 1080p as of now but wouldn’t mind the option to go higher on certain games. Mainly care more for fps and performance though.
My budget is pretty flexible can do a couple thousand USD if needed
I wanted to switch to AMD GPU as well I was reading that the performance is better. (Plus a bit cheaper
lol)
Was looking at the newest 9070 just because for the prices I’ve seen it doesn’t seem like a bad idea. I know I’d have to upgrade power supply and cpu with it as well. Not sure what I’d have to upgrade those to? As well as if my current case is okay of if I’d need more space + cooling capabilities
Would appreciate any help and any recommendations for perhaps other choices I should look into? Doesn’t need to be the newest options those just seemed like a good idea again though, I don’t really know much about any of this.
