The best part of the spice bag are the onions
Spice bags are a beloved Irish cuisine sold at chinese take aways. They're essentially a brown paper bag filled with chips, battered chicken and onion thrown together with a spice mix. Everyone I know and their mother always complain that there isn't enough chicken in the spice bag because it's the best part. Many people hate the veg and order spice bags without it. I think the veg, specifically the onions, make the dish! They soak up all the yummy seasoning they're light and crunchy and don't immediately fill you up and send you into a food coma.
