I'm currently shopping for a new piano and have been going back and forth between getting an acoustic upright or a high-end digital.
I know the classic argument "acoustic is king for touch" but digital technology has come a long way recently. For those of you who play regularly, I’d love to get your perspective on how the two compare in today’s market.
I’m particularly curious about:
**The "Feel" Gap:** If you moved from an upright to a high-end digital (or vice-versa), was the adjustment period difficult?
**Maintenance vs. Convenience:** Is the hassle of regular tuning and climate control for an acoustic worth it, or do you prefer the "plug-and-play" nature of a digital?
**Skill Ceiling:** Do you feel like a digital piano eventually holds you back when you start playing more complex, fast-paced pieces, or is that mostly a myth now?
**Recommendations:** Are there specific models or series (digital or acoustic) that you think offer the best value or experience right now?
Would love to hear your thoughts or experiences. Thanks! #audio #music
