So I made an alien-inspired cutting board...
I wanted to make a cutting board that, if an **alien** came to **Earth** and wanted to buy one, this would be the board it would choose. 😄
To bring that vision to life, I combined **wenge**, **purpleheart**, and **cherry** through **7** glue-ups to create a pattern that feels organic, futuristic, and just a little mysterious. As always, I had a rough idea of how the design should look, but the natural grain and color of the wood played their own part and shaped the final result.
**Size:** 44 × 29 × 3.5 cm (17.3 × 11.4 × 1.4 in)
**Material:** Wenge, Purpleheart & Cherry
**Construction:** End grain
**Finish:** Food-safe mineral oil
