I’m a new author from India. My first book launch last week was a total ghost town , so I’m giving away my second book for free today hoping for a better 'handshake' with readers!
I'll be honest with you all—launching a book as an indie author is a lot lonelier than the movies make it look. I released my first anthology last week, and it basically disappeared into the void. No reviews, no downloads, just me and my keyboard.
I'm not ready to call it quits yet.
Today, I’m making the second book in my series, 'Beautiful Ways to Love', completely FREE. It’s a collection of 4 stories about the quiet, awkward, and beautiful ways we try to connect with each other.
The Stories:
"Crush" & "Coffee Date": About the butterflies and the anxiety of the "firsts."
"Khamoshi" & "Chhaata": About the beauty of things that remain unsaid.
If you enjoy atmospheric, emotional short fiction set in India, I’d love for you to grab a copy. Even though Book 1 isn't free anymore, Book 2 stands completely on its own.
Why I'm doing this: I don't have a marketing budget or a big following. I just want to know if my words resonate with anyone out there. If you do read it, a brief review on Amazon would mean the world—it’s the only way the algorithm starts to show the book to other people.
