DESIGNING FOR THE DEAD WHO ARE ALIVE
ive been thinking about this for a while now, how we can actually design spaces/experiences for under-appreciated/unremembered people. you see usually when we want to remember those who are gone from this world, we design memorials for them. but what if those dead people are actually alive? what if their presence, the idea of them is dead but they are real living people among us? its just that they carry the loads of society and cities but their efforts are no where to be seen, to be appreciated? through the failure of governments to give them what they deserve, how can designers actually help THOSE kinds of people? what kind of spaces can we create for them?
