European Parliament votes to scrap hand luggage charges
Thoughts on this?
Not sure what to think about this move personally. It mostly makes sense for long-haul flights ofc, but for intra-European flights LLCs often charge more for the luggage than for the flight tickets themselves (which includes at least a small backpack generally).
All this seemingly does is push up the price for simple tickets even if you don’t need more than a backpack.
