➡️I grew up with my father taking the role of both parents, so this coming Mother's Day, I want to dedicate this to my late father who filled in every role just so I would never feel like something was missing.
He once told me, "𝗦𝘁𝘂𝗱𝘆 𝗵𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝘀𝗼 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗴𝗲𝘁 𝗮 𝗴𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗷𝗼𝗯, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝘄𝗼𝗻'𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝘁𝗼 𝗱𝗲𝗽𝗲𝗻𝗱 𝗼𝗻 𝗮𝗻𝘆𝗼𝗻𝗲."
Another thing he always reminded me of was, "𝗕𝗲 𝗰𝗼𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗱, 𝗯𝘂𝘁 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗱𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗺𝘀 𝗹𝗶𝘃𝗲 𝗵𝘂𝗺𝗯𝗹𝘆 𝗲𝘃𝗲𝗻 𝘄𝗵𝗲𝗻 𝘆𝗼𝘂 𝗵𝗮𝘃𝗲 𝗻𝗼𝘁𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴."

➡️These words have guided my life. They taught me to work hard and stand on my own, no matter the circumstances. They also reminded me to stay humble, to live within my means, and to keep dreaming without pretending to be someone I'm not.
