If you had none if the games, but somehow the knowledge of their fun factor. What games would you get on steam summer sale?

I am trying to expand my library beyond just what I "play out of habbit".
And as I recently broke my left wrist and got a great gaming pc, I have the time and tools to play anything.
(Anything,)
What are some pc must haves?
What are games that was fun kr worth it in some other way.
That kept you engaged by gameplay or just fun factor of the grind/farm/loop.
