I am turning into a boomer
I reached out to a local carpentry business about potential building an enclosed raised garden, I never spoke to a anyone, their rep just texted. I sent them rough ideas/screenshots of ideas and my measurements for the building area. They texted me back a quote for $10K for a “guesstimate” without coming out to measure personally or even having a conversation with me regarding specs and materials. I know we live in a digital age, but my god. A $10K sale over text is a hard pass for me. lolwtf
