Fixing lock on Door
Hello everybody I’m 24F and I live in a poorly made grandparent suite. Recently I closed my door and a chunk of the side came out ( I can dm pictures if needed) it’s a pretty clean chuck. This basically means I haven’t been able to close my door fully and end up having to prop things against it to close at night but, I get so nervous about it. Does anyone know anyway I can fix this I have a screw driver and a few screws, I’m not sure about what will actually get it to stay though. Any and all feedback and help is appreciated I just wanna feel safe in my house again. Thank you
A more detailed description would be the part of the casing / frame where the door would close, the metal pieces that click, a square chunk is missing where that would go usually so it’s a hole there I still have a knob and lock set.
