Currently backpacking Eastern Europe , need some recommendations as I’m getting sick of cities.
I've been in Europe for three and a half weeks now, mostly Italy. Go to Rijeka four days ago, and am currently in Zadar Croatia. Next up is Zagreb as a way to Budapest. I'd really like to get some recommendations on place to go that aren't cities, smaller towns with history or sights to see, or even very wilderness type places. They would have to be accessible by bus or train. I would also accept tips on meeting people? I can't say I've really met anyone at all. I do not drink but also do not have a problem socializing despite that. Maybe I have my headphones in too often? Anyway. Really looking for some tips on how to improve my current journey.
