Need help finding no-legged cat plush
My daughter and wife took a trip around town getting ready for the little one's birthday. We don't normally let our daughter bring her toys inside a store just for the very reason of her dropping and losing them. But sure enough, wife forgot to remind her of this and keep the toy in the car. They visited multiple places before anyone realized it was gone. After several months of checking back for lost and found, we concluded it's just gone.
So. This used to be my wife's old toy, a small hand-sized plushie of a calico cat with no legs. Daughter affectionately called it "No Legs". And misses it terribly even after several months. replacement toys have been okay, but every now and then she cries for her No Legs.
The problem is my wife has no idea what it was called, what company made it, or even when or where she got it. terrible ADHD and just poor memory make this an impossible task for her.
Despite my best efforts, I have not been able to find any company that sells something even remotely close to what this toy is. It's not a Squishmallow or a pillow stuffy. It was just about 5-6 inches long, and it wasn't squishie like a plush animal but more like a bean bag type of toy. It flopped and was made of some kind of fleece material. Probably recycled polyester.
Even if I can get something *kind* of similar, it would make my year. but most of the results I get are basically just large pillow-shaped bread loaf cats.
Any direction or insights would be greatly appreciated.
